Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED, or relevant education and experience.
  • Six months cashier experience for Customer Service Desk roles.
  • Minimum age: 18 years (19 in Idaho and Alaska if selling tobacco).
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends, any shift, and overtime as needed.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Related retail experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver excellent customer service and motivate others to do the same.
  • Perform cashier duties: open/close register, ring sales, handle transactions, bag merchandise, and know produce codes.
  • Maintain price discrepancy logs and cleanliness standards.
  • Answer phones and comply with corporate policies.
  • Promote company initiatives and ensure security measures like deactivating tags.
Store and Customer Service Desk Duties:
  • Manage store accounting functions and bank deposits.
  • Operate the customer service desk: process refunds, exchanges, money orders, bill payments, gift cards, and rentals.
  • Provide lottery and licensing services where applicable.
  • Handle administrative tasks like faxing, lost and found, and vendor reports.
  • Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity.
  • Support minors, individuals with special needs, and seniors as needed.
