Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. in Medford is seeking a Front-End Team Member to ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will scan items, bag groceries, answer questions, and help finalize purchases with a friendly, efficient approach.

You’ll also keep the front end organized and will rotate between tasks such as transactions, cart collection, restocking, and checkout-area upkeep throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older (or 18 depending on local/state rules).
• Completion of cashier/front-end training on hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions, bag groceries, and assist customers at the checkout.
• Keep the front end organized, clean, and running smoothly.
• Rotate tasks between transactions, cart retrieval, stocking, and checkout area upkeep.
• Maintain accuracy in scanning, pricing, and order completion.
