Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to deliver a smooth checkout experience for customers. You’ll help complete purchases, answer questions, and keep the front end organized and efficient throughout the shift.

You will rotate between tasks like handling transactions, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area, staying busy in a fast-paced environment with varying priorities. A flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ years old (or 18+ depending on state).
• Completion of cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout with friendly, efficient service.
• Process transactions accurately for cash, card, and digital payments.
• Bag groceries and help bagging and cart retrieval as needed.
• Keep front-end area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Support store operations and adapt to changing priorities during shifts.
