Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. in Oregon City is seeking a Front-End Team Member to ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers. You’ll help complete purchases accurately while keeping interactions friendly and efficient.

You will rotate between transactions, bagging groceries, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area, thriving in a fast-paced environment and staying engaged with changing priorities.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ per local/state rules).
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Scan items, bag groceries, and assist customers at checkout.
• Process purchases accurately with cash, card, and digital payments.
• Maintain checkout area cleanliness and organization.
• Restock supplies and collect carts as needed throughout shift.
• Rotate between tasks to keep front-end operations smooth.
