Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to support a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will handle transactions, assist with bagging and front-end upkeep, and adapt to varying customer flow in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires basic math and communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on local/state)
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Handle checkout transactions and scan items accurately
• Greet customers and answer questions to ensure a positive experience
• Bag groceries and assist with bagging as needed
• Restock and maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-end area
• Assist with cart retrieval and general front-end upkeep
• Address pricing, transaction, or customer service questions as needed
• Follow store policies, registers procedures, and checkout processes
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow during shifts
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required
