Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. in Oregon is seeking a Front-End Team Member to support the checkout area, scan items, process payments, bag groceries, and assist customers with questions.

You will rotate tasks, keep the front-end area organized, restock supplies, and maintain a friendly, efficient checkout flow throughout shifts that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 years of age or older, depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Scanning items at checkout and bagging groceries
• Answering customer questions and ensuring a smooth checkout experience
• Keep front-end area clean, organized, and stocked
• Rotate between tasks: handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining checkout area
• Adapt to changing priorities and customer flow during shifts
