Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member at Safeway to ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers.

You will scan items, assist with bagging, and help customers complete purchases accurately while maintaining a friendly, efficient atmosphere. You will also keep the front-end area organized and running, rotate between tasks such as restocking, collecting carts, and answering questions.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Create smooth checkout experience for customers.
• Handle transactions including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Scan items, bag groceries, and maintain checkout area.
• Restock supplies and manage front-end upkeep.
