Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a Front End Team Member in our store to provide fast, friendly service, process transactions, verify IDs, and promote our loyalty program. You’ll engage customers, answer questions, and help them find products while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

You will gain wine, spirits, and beer product knowledge through training, stay informed about ads and promotions, and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for best-in-class customer service and team player mindset.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Deliver exceptional service and build customer relationships.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain store safety and cleanliness; adhere to alcohol sale laws.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• If seasonal, expect short-term work up to six months with option to apply for non-seasonal role.
