Job summary

Mercy Home for Boys & Girls in Chicago is seeking a part-time receptionist to greet visitors, answer phones, and manage donations while representing the Agency with professionalism.

You will operate the Easy Lobby system, handle mail and deliveries, maintain logs, and support staff with calendar management and basic office tasks.

Schedule is Monday through Friday 7am–12pm at Walsh Girls Campus; pay range is $20–$21 per hour; Mercy Home is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in reception or customer service preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to present a professional appearance and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Greet and screen visitors; answer incoming calls and take messages.
• Receive and record donations; supervise reception area and cameras.
• Provide information and directions; represent Mercy Home professionally.
• Maintain visitor logs, manage sign-in, and assist with scheduling in Outlook.
