Job summary

YWCA Seattle King Snohomish is seeking a Front Desk Admin/Van Driver to provide safe, courteous transportation for residents and front-desk support at passages Point Programs. The role includes answering phones, coordinating transportation, and assisting with guest services and office duties.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Washington State Driver License and insurance.
• Must pass criminal background check and YWCA driving test.
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety procedures.
• Must be able to work with ethnically and economically diverse population both children and adults.
• Ability to react calmly in emergency situations and be considerate.
• Experience working with communities of color.
• Demonstrated understanding of the intersection of racism and poverty.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following all policies and procedures and the ability to follow through on assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely and courteous transportation for residents.
• Adhere to PP policies regarding transport of adults and children.
• Assist residents with special needs during transportation.
• Provide pickup and delivery services as directed.
• Track and coordinate transportation destinations.
• Collaborate with PP case managers and YWCA staff for transportation support.
• Answer phones and assist office guests with information and referrals.
• Perform general office duties as needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance and update filing systems when required.
• Support hiring processes and scheduling appointments.
