Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Overnight Front Desk Supervisor for the beautiful Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

The Overnight Front Office Supervisor's role is to ensure guests are checked in and out courteously and professionally, maintaining four-star/four-diamond standards. The supervisor will also handle guest issues and escalate as needed.

Responsibilities

  1. Thoroughly understand all check-in policies and procedures.
  2. Handle various guest scenarios effectively.
  3. Be familiar with all technical equipment related to the Front Desk.
  4. Know all hotel facilities and offerings.
  5. Understand the impact of all departments on the Front Desk.
  6. Train new associates.
  7. Be familiar with shift checklists and manage the desk in the absence of the Assistant Manager.
  8. Perform rooms control duties.
  9. Have broad knowledge of Epitome, Synergy, and Vingcard systems.
  10. Be familiar with all reservation special packages.
  11. Understand radio codes and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

  1. Previous experience in a four-diamond or convention resort preferred.
  2. At least one year in a front office position required.
  3. High propensity for excellent customer service.
  4. Previous cash handling experience.
  5. Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
  6. May require working overnight shifts.
  7. Computer skills including Synergy, Nucleus, Epitome, Vision, GoConcierge, and Microsoft Office.
