Job summary

The Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee, part of The Marcus Corporation, is seeking an experienced Front Desk Supervisor to uphold our iconic service standards. You will supervise daily front desk operations and coach a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include staff training, resolving guest concerns, coordinating with housekeeping and reservations, and ensuring flawless service across shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front office or hospitality leadership experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with hotel property management systems preferred.

What you will be doing

• Supervise front desk operations to ensure efficient check-in, check-out, guest services, and adherence to luxury hospitality standards.
• Lead, train, and support front desk associates, providing ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and operational guidance.
• Resolve guest concerns and service recovery situations promptly and professionally, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Monitor daily operations, including room assignments, shift coverage, cash handling, and compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, reservations, bell services, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and an outstanding guest experience.

Position Requirements

• Previous hotel front office or hospitality leadership experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with hotel property management systems preferred.
