Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Front Desk Security Officer in Rochester, MN. You will provide a welcoming, professional presence at the retail location, monitor access, greet visitors, and report security concerns. This role offers flexible day and weekend shifts and an opportunity to join a dynamic security team.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months in security, a HS diploma, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. Local licensing may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted per federal/state/local laws.
• Criminal histories may be considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and personnel per site policies.
• Staff the front desk and serve as a professional contact for guests and vendors.
• Verify visitor access and maintain visitor/incident documentation.
• Monitor entrances and security systems from the front desk and report concerns.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate with leadership and responders as needed.
