Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Full Time Front Desk Security Officer in New York, NY. You will greet visitors, verify IDs, issue credentials, and maintain visitor records at a commercial real estate location.

You will monitor cameras and alarms, respond to incidents, and support building operations while delivering exceptional service to tenants, guests, and employees.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience interacting with tenants, visitors, and employees.
• Ability to monitor and follow access-control procedures.
• Strong communication to greet visitors and verify identification.
• Familiarity with security protocols and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at the front desk of a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor entry records.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, and other security-related equipment; report unusual activity, access issues, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols when appropriate.
• Support building operations by directing guests, answering general inquiries, coordinating with property management, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
