Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Access Reception in Weehawken, NJ. You will serve tenants and guests at a premier office location, managing access control, visitor management, and security communications to maintain a welcoming environment.

You will support front desk operations, coordinate with building management, and respond to incidents with professional, calm problem-solving. A strong customer service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial office location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and other security-related equipment; report unusual activity, incidents, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence, answer phones, receive deliveries, and support tenant and building management requests in accordance with site policies.
