Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security company, is seeking a full-time Security Officer at our Honolulu, HI location. You will serve at a front desk, manage access control, greet visitors, and maintain a secure environment with strong customer service values.

The role requires active DoD Secret clearance, a high school diploma, and adherence to site procedures. You will participate in background checks and drug screening where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality and may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures.
• Operate the front desk, greet visitors, verify ID/authorization, issue credentials, and direct guests as required.
• Monitor entry activity, logging, and security systems; report issues or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly, following notification and escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of visitors, deliveries, incidents, and other front-desk activities; handle sensitive information professionally.
