Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Front Desk Access Control in Los Angeles, CA. You will greet visitors, verify credentials, and monitor access at a retail/mall location, ensuring safety and smooth operations.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, managing logs, and coordinating with site contacts. Requires basic security experience, HS diploma, and willingness to pass background checks and a drug screen. This is a full‑time, on‑site role with shift-based hours.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• Background check and drug screen required per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and vendors at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials, and maintain logs.
• Answer calls, provide directions, and relay routine concerns to site contacts and leadership.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following emergency procedures.
• Monitor cameras and access systems; report unusual activity or maintenance needs.
