YogaSix Monmouth, which includes our Shrewsbury and Ocean Plaza studios, is dedicated to delivering an accessible, modern, and empowering yoga experience. We focus on creating a welcoming community where members can improve their physical and mental well-being. It offers six different class types designed to accommodate students of all levels in an empowering, encouraging, and fun way. Established in 2012, YogaSix is the fastest-growing boutique yoga company in the United States. As a Wellness Advisor (Sales Associate), you will be the first point of contact for potential and current members, playing a key role in driving membership growth and fostering an exceptional studio experience.

POSITION:

Front Desk Associate(Wellness Advisor) is a sales-focused, customer service role responsible for engaging prospective members, converting leads into memberships, and ensuring a positive in-studio experience. The ideal candidate is outgoing, goal-driven, and passionate about fitness, wellness, and community engagement.

Daily, you will make sales calls and other outreach communications to studio prospects and members. The Wellness Advisor provides superior customer service while helping new and current students with class selections, answering membership questions, and transacting merchandise purchases. We expect you to be excited about meeting and greeting our customers and be part of building a strong YogaSix community.

You must be available to work 4-7 hours per shift on average throughout the week and weekends; class schedule depends on theday.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2+ years of sales experience, Must be comfortable making outbound phone calls to people who have indicated interest in our yoga studio
• Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills.
• Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales targets
• Connect with local businesses for collaborations and leads generation
• Strong customer service skills
• A passion for health and fitness
• Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system
• Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in-person, phone, and email
• Must have proficient computer skills
• Daily and/or occasional travel may be required within Monmouth County, NJ
• Attend special events and trainingas needed

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales & Membership Growth

• Conduct outbound calls, texts, and emails to potential members to schedule trial classes and consultations.
• Educate prospective members aboutYogaSix class formats, membership options, and benefits.
• Follow up with leads and trial members to maximize membership conversion rates.
• Consistently meet and exceed individual and studio sales goals.
• Process membership agreements, cancellations, and freezes while providing excellent customer service.

Customer Engagement & Studio Support

• Greet and check in members for classes, creating a friendly and welcoming studio atmosphere.
• Assist in resolving customer inquiries and concerns to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
• Support studio operations, including retail sales, light cleaning duties, and class setup.
• Engage with members to create a strong sense of community and encourage referrals.

Marketing & Community Outreach

• Participate in grassroots marketing efforts, including local business partnerships and community events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of the job successfully
• You may be required to sit or stand for up to four hours. It may be required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car.
• You may be asked to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus
• Must be able to hear in person and via telephone effectively

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• 1+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or fitness/wellness-related roles.
• Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their wellness goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates must have curiosity and problem-solving skills to help proactively resolve identified issues.
• Comfortable making phone calls and following up with leads.
• Experience withCRM software (e.g., ClubReady, MindBody, MarianaTek) is a plus.
