Job summary

Erickson Senior Living’s Highland Springs community in North Dallas, Texas, seeks a Front Desk Associate to greet residents and visitors and set a welcoming tone. You will handle questions, monitor emergency calls, and assist with census and mail logistics in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires receptionist experience, excellent verbal communication, and the ability to multi-task while supporting a community-focused team with strong health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct residents, visitors, and staff, handling questions and concerns efficiently.
• Receive emergency calls from residents and staff and dispatch appropriate personnel; page on-call physicians as needed.
• Monitor all emergency pull cords for Independent Living residents.
• Track status of residents involved in a situation (transport, hospital, etc.).
• Manage resident lists alphabetically and by apartment.
• Assist with maintaining census information, hospitalizations, deaths, etc., and keep list of residents away/returning.
• Log all resident packages and notify residents of package pickup; ensure mail dispatch through U.S. Mail each day.
