Job summary

Phoenix House of New York is seeking a Front Desk Representative to join our outpatient clinic team as the primary contact for patient scheduling and services. You will play a key role in coordinating patient flow and operational management of the clinic.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service/receptionist positions in an office setting is required.
  • Prior experience working with Chemical Dependency patients and/or in a healthcare outpatient clinic is preferred.
  • Experience with OASAS licensed 822 program regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Functions as the initial point of contact for patients both on the phone and in office.
  • Triage calls, schedule appointments and provide information about the program’s services.
  • Coordinate patient payment methods with our benefits department and patient benefit providers.
  • Assist the program staff in managing compliance with regulatory operational requirements.
  • Administrative staff coordinates weekly billing with staff and the billing department for claims generation.

Qualifications
  • Experience in customer service/receptionist positions in an office setting required
  • Prior experience working with Chemical Dependency patients and/or experience working in an healthcare outpatient clinic setting preferred
  • Experience working in and adhering to OASAS licensed 822 program regulations is a plus
