Job summary

Zoo Health Club Derry is seeking friendly Front Desk Representatives to greet members, manage check-ins, and assist with retail sales. The role supports the Sales and Kids Place teams to keep the club welcoming, clean, and safe.

Flexible hours include evenings, mornings, and weekend shifts. CPR/First Aid certifications will be provided if needed; experience in health clubs or hospitality is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and close procedures; maintain club cleanliness and order.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; stand and type for long periods.
• Maintain professional appearance and avoid non-work activities when on shift.
• Collaborate with Sales and Kids Place staff; other duties as assigned.

We have flexible hours available whether you are looking to pick up just a couple of shifts per week or work as many as six days per week.

Front Desk Representatives are responsible for keeping the club and equipment clean, neat, and orderly, as well as greeting and assisting members, making smoothies and working together with Sales and Kids Place staff to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.

Our staff members are treated to a complimentary gym membership to all our clubs!

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

• Evenings 2pm - 8pm (Monday - Friday)
• Mornings 8am - 12pm (Saturday)
• Security shifts available outside of regular staffed hours per request

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets and checks in all members and guests
• Sells retail products and services
• Answers and directs all incoming phone calls, updates billing
• Fields all member complaints and concerns
• Performs Opening and Closing Procedures for the club
• Cleaning and organizing the equipment and the club
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, typing and standing for long periods of time
• Maintains professionalism and appearance
• When not assisting members; avoids eating, sitting, reading, Internet surfing, or any other activities that are not work-related
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• An understanding of health club operations

REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in a health club or the hospitality industry is preferred
• College degree preferred
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or will be provided
