Job summary

City of Roseville’s Parks, Recreation & Libraries Department is seeking a Recreation Leader to staff the front desk at recreation facilities. You will assist patrons with program registrations, rental bookings, payments, inquiries, and provide general facility information in a welcoming, professional environment.

You will coordinate day-to-day desk coverage with part-time staff, help with scheduling, and support recreation programs and events to enhance community experiences and public service.

Qualifications

• One year of experience overseeing and implementing recreation programs or one year of clerical and customer service experience.
• Completion of the twelfth grade, GED, or higher level degree.

Responsibilities

• Support front desk operations at recreation facilities, assisting patrons with program registration, rental booking, payments, inquiries, and general facility information.
• Coordinate day-to-day front desk coverage by working closely with part-time staff, assisting with scheduling needs, providing guidance, and supporting smooth operations during assigned shifts.
• Support recreation programs, activities, and special events as needed.
