Job summary

The City of Roseville’s Parks, Recreation & Libraries Department is seeking a friendly Recreation Leader to serve as the first point of contact at our recreation facilities, handling program registrations, rental bookings, payments, and general information.

You will support front desk coverage, coordinate shift schedules with part-time staff, and assist with recreation programs and special events, contributing to a welcoming community hub.

Qualifications

• One year of experience overseeing and implementing recreation programs or one year of clerical and customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills in a front-facing role.
• Equivalent to completing the twelfth grade or higher (GED acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact at recreation facilities, assisting with program registration, rental bookings and payments.
• Coordinate day-to-day front desk coverage with part-time staff and assist with scheduling.
• Provide program support and assist with special events as needed.
