Fairfax Behavioral Health is seeking a per diem/on call Front Desk Receptionist at our Kirkland location. You will welcome guests with a smile, provide quality service, and manage multiple phone lines while supporting admissions and discharge coordination.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience on a hospital switchboard and flexibility for overtime. Verbal de-escalation training is provided during new hire orientation.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two (2) years of experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a health care environment.
• May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours; Verbal De-escalation Certification provided during Fairfax new hire training.

POSITION SUMMARY: Front Desk Receptionist (Per Diem/On call)

Fairfax Behavioral Health is seeking a per diem/on call Front Desk Receptionist at our Kirkland location. This position is responsible for welcoming our guests with a smile, providing quality and efficient service for internal and external customers, answering, routing multiple phone lines and responding to routine questions. Additionally, this position assists with the coordination of patient admissions, discharge process, monitors patients while in lobby, and will be responsible for other related clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred Experience: Two (2) years of experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a health care environment and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment.

Additional Requirements: May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours. Successful completion of Verbal De-escalation Certification; provided during Fairfax new hire training.
