Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe seeks a Front Desk Receptionist on-call to warmly greet visitors, answer calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff at the Tribal Center in Kingston, WA. This on-call position supports busy administrative operations with flexibility in hours.

You will maintain a tidy reception area, manage sign-out books, assist with mail and room reservations, and provide courteous service while upholding confidentiality and excellent public relations within the community.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License.
  • Strong customer service skills and professional appearance.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn word processing, spreadsheets and other software.

Responsibilities

  • Answer all incoming phone calls and forward to staff extensions.
  • Greet visitors professionally and direct them appropriately.
  • Maintain a tidy reception area at all times.
  • Maintain sign-out books for van, keys, and rooms.
  • Assist with mail, faxes, and routine office tasks.

# Front Desk Receptionist On-CallPort Gamble S'Klallam Tribe - Kingston, WA 98346Start Date 09/30/2026End Date 10/14/2026## OverviewSalary Range$19.04 - $24.75 HourlyPosition TypeOn-Call/Variable - Less than 19 hrs/weekEducation LevelHigh School/GED - RequiredTravel PercentageOccasional travel to trainings## DescriptionThe purpose of this position is: to receive visitors and telephone callers at the Tribal Center, determine the nature of their visit/call, and direct them to the appropriate person, telephone extension, or information; and to perform a variety of administrative duties to support office staff.**Duties Include:*** Answer all in-coming phone calls. Forward calls to employees extension.
