Job summary

Ingersoll Cutting Tool Company in Rockford, IL is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist/Inside Sales Order Entry Representative for an on-site, full-time role. You will answer calls, greet visitors, process orders, and manage high-volume email requests with accuracy and professionalism.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of data-entry experience, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with order-entry in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous order entry experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all situations.
• Works well independently as well as in groups.
• Highly organized with the capability to multi-task and complete a variety of tasks throughout the day.
• Ability to uphold high volume work loads.
• Familiarity with machine tools a plus.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) AS400 and or similar system preferred.
• Minimum 2 years- experience in data entry in an office setting.

Responsibilities

• Sorting and distributing mail to the appropriate recipients.
• Fulfilling orders for promotional items.
• Responding to both internal and external inquiries timely and professionally.

We are currently accepting applications for an experienced Front Desk Receptionist/Inside Sales Order Entry Representative.

The salary range for this position is $18-21/hr.

This is an on-site full-time position in a professional office setting.
