Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking a Transportation Driver to safely transport patients to and from hospitals, clinics, and residences in a professional manner. You will ensure resident safety on the bus and during boarding and exiting buildings, and perform routine vehicle inspections and paperwork.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and reliable vehicle upkeep. Prior bus/van driving experience is preferred, and the position offers multiple shifts including full-time, part-time, and PRN options.

Qualifications

• Perform safe, secure patient transport between hospitals, clinics, dialysis centers and residences.
• Preference for a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Illinois drivers license with DOT licensure and medical exam.
• Age requirement per facility insurance: 25–74 years.
• Experience as a bus/van driver is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level customer service while transporting residents to activities, appointments, and outings.
• Ensure resident safety at all times on bus and during entry/exit to buildings.
• Maintain vehicle by performing inspections, scheduled maintenance, and complete required paperwork.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Active Illinois Driver's License, meeting DOT required vehicle licensure and physical.
