Aperion Care in Springfield, IL seeks a Transportation Driver to safely transport patients to hospitals, clinics, dialysis centers, and residences. You will prioritize resident safety and provide courteous, reliable service throughout trips.

Responsibilities include securing passengers, vehicle checks, completing required paperwork, and adhering to DOT safety standards. Full-time, part-time, and PRN options available with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Active Illinois Driver's License, meeting DOT required vehicle licensure and physical.
• Must be between 25 and 74 per facility insurance requirements.
• Experience as a bus or van driver preferred.

Job Summary

The Transportation Driver will provide the transportation of patients to and from hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers and private residences in a safe, secure, and professional manner.

Essential Duties

• Provides a high level of customer service and assistance while transporting residents to and from activities, appointments, and other outings in accordance with safety standards.
• Is responsible for the safety of residents at all times. Monitors resident safety on the bus, while boarding and departing the vehicle as well as the entrance and exit of buildings.
