Job summary

Dogtopia is hiring Canine Concierge in Portland, OR. Two part-time positions are available for energetic individuals who love dogs and want to grow with a fun, fast-paced team. Training includes canine education and potential to bring your own dog to work after completion.

Responsibilities include selling enrollments, tours, scheduling Meet & Greet, and customer follow-up. We value reliability, proactive communication, and a friendly, dog-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Must love dogs.
• Ability to stand up to 100% of shift.
• Flexible days and hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team.
• Strong customer-service skills and patience.
• Upselling ability.

Responsibilities

• Sell daycare enrollments.
• Lead tours of our facility.
• Book Meet & Greet appointments by phone.
• Make follow-up calls to leads.
• Follow up with Pet Parents via phone and text.
• Post to Instagram and Facebook.
• Use MS Office and other computer software.
• Deliver customer service while coordinating with Canine Coaches.
• Perform cleaning tasks.
• Maintain a neat front desk and POS area.
• Greet everyone entering Dogtopia.
• Understand Dogtopia's Noble Cause and our Dogtopia-isms.

Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services has immediate openings for energetic, organized, business-minded individuals that will be the first point of contact as Canine Concierge. We are looking to make 2 PART-TIME hires. Candidates should LOVE dogs and be proactive in their development towards becoming better canine citizens - and, upon successful completion of training, can even bring their dog to work!

Day to Day Duties

• Selling daycare enrollments
• Leading tours of our facility
• Booking Meet & Greet appointments on the phone
• Making phone calls to leads
• Following-up with Pet Parents and Dogs via phone and text
• Posting to Instagram and Facebook
• Using computer software including MS Office, IOS and more
• Multi-tasking-delivering customer service while balancing needs of Canine Coaches in playrooms
• Cleaning
• Managing a POS system
• Greeting EVERYONE that walks into Dogtopia!
