Job summary

Dogtopia in San Marcos, CA is seeking a friendly Front Desk Receptionist to welcome guests and manage daily front-desk duties. This Canine Concierge role requires energy, organization and a love of dogs, with responsibilities including greeting clients, selling enrollments, booking tours and handling phones.

Two part-time positions are available. You will learn Dogtopia's standards, participate in team training, and may even bring your own dog to work after training.

Qualifications

• Must love dogs.
• Ability to stand up to 100% of shift time.
• Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to handle phone calls while assisting at the lobby.
• Comfort with upselling.

Responsibilities

• Sell daycare enrollments.
• Lead tours of the facility.
• Book meet & greet appointments on the phone.
• Make calls to leads.
• Follow up with pet parents and dogs via phone and text.
• Post to Instagram and Facebook.
• Use computer software including MS Office, iOS, and more.
• Multi-task: deliver customer service while supporting canine coaches in playrooms.
• Greet everyone that walks into Dogtopia.
• Understand Dogtopia's noble cause and Dogtopia-isms.

Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services, has immediate openings for energetic, organized, business-minded individuals that will be the first point of contact as a Canine Concierge. We are looking to make 2 PART‑TIME hires. Candidates should LOVE dogs and be proactive in their development towards becoming better canine citizens – and, upon successful completion of training, can even bring their dog to work!

Salary Information
