Sales Receptionist
As our new receptionist, you will be the voice and face of our dealership. We need someone with a winning attitude and a professional appearance. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate staff, mail distribution, and providing additional clerical support.
Job Responsibilities
- Welcoming on‑site guests, determining the nature of their business, and announcing guests to appropriate personnel
- Answering incoming telephone calls, screening the purpose of the request, and forwarding the call to appropriate personnel or department
- Taking and delivering messages or transferring calls to voicemail when appropriate staff are unavailable
- Assist with clerical duties to include faxing, copying, and organizing/maintaining files
- Coordinate with vendors and services they provide
- Ensure the main voicemail reflects office closings, special events as well as posting office closed signs. Answer questions about the organization and provide callers with address, directions, and other information requested
- Receive and deliver mail to Office Manager
- Maintain the Rotation board
- Next day Customer Delivery confirmation calls
- Customer Delivery Orientation
- Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of the organization
- Collect, organize and account for previous business days’ sales and greeters logs
- Support administrative and special project requirements, as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 3 months of related experience and training
- Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered
Compensation
Schedule
- Full‑time
- Saturdays availability is required
- Store hours are 9am – 7pm, Monday – Saturday
Physical Requirements
- Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or workstation.
- Standing/Walking: Occasionally required to stand and walk, especially when assisting customers, retrieving items, or delivering documents.
- Lifting/Carrying: Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20–25 pounds.
- Reaching/Bending: Frequent reaching, bending, or stretching to retrieve or store files or office materials.
- Manual Dexterity: Regular use of hands and fingers for typing, using a computer mouse, handling documents, or operating office equipment like a phone or printer.
