MedQuest Associates is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist.

Please note: This is a PART-TIME position.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will serve as the initial point of contact with patients, referring physicians, and the general public on behalf of the imaging center. This includes, but is not limited to: welcoming all patients and their family members into the imaging center, making patients and visitors feel comfortable, and attending to their needs. Responsibilities also include checking patients in, answering phones, routing calls, scheduling appointments, collecting balances at the time of service, and other front desk duties as necessary.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Prior Experience:

  • 0-2+ years in healthcare, customer support, or hospitality fields

Special Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Computer proficiency and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in a physician practice or medical office
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience with patient collections
  • Medical records experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
