As a Front Desk Agent, you are the first point of contact for guests as they check in or out of the hotel. Your role is to provide efficient, accurate, and friendly service, ensuring a seamless and welcoming guest experience. A courteous, professional, and service-oriented approach is essential to maintaining guest satisfaction and upholding the hotel’s standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and facilitate a fast, efficient check-in process, including ID verification and payment collection.
  • Assign room keys, assist guests with registration, and ensure special requests are accommodated when possible.
  • Accurately prepare and organize guest packets and relay guest and room information to the appropriate hotel staff.
  • Handle maintenance and repair requests and ensure proper tracking and communication.
  • Adhere strictly to credit, check-cashing, and cash-handling procedures and policies.
  • Perform cashier functions such as billing, posting charges, settling invoices, and foreign currency exchanges.
  • Professionally manage incoming calls through the PBX console, using proper etiquette and directing calls to the correct department or guestroom.
  • Take, record, and promptly deliver messages. Manage mail and packages using established handling procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel front desk or guest service roles.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with hotel check-in/check-out procedures and front desk systems is preferred.
  • Professional appearance and a friendly, team-oriented attitude.
  • Must be comfortable handling cash, credit transactions, and guest concerns in a courteous and efficient manner.
