GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the LACASA Offices by greeting, providing direction and information to clients, staff, visitors, and other guests of LACASA. Promotes safety, cleanliness and organization of the front desk and related public facing spaces. Provides administrative and clerical support as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous office/related experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required. Basic understanding of administrative processes and clerical procedures and systems required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and multi-line phone system necessary. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail will benefit this position. Must be able to pass a drug screen test.
SCHEDULE:The core schedule will consist of five 4-hour shifts per week; M-F/ 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
In addition to the regular schedule, flexibility is required to provide occasional coverage for the full-time Receptionist during scheduled days off, training, vacation, meetings, special events, or other periods when additional front-desk coverage is needed. The ability to adjust hours or work an alternate shift with reasonable advance notice is an important part of this position.
