Orthopaedic Associates in Evansville, IN is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to greet patients, check them in/out, collect co-pays, and schedule appointments. The role requires a high school diploma and strong communication skills, with proficiency in computer use and multitasking in a busy medical office.
The successful candidate will be cross-trained for check-in/check-out tasks, maintain patient confidentiality, and support the office flow.
The Front Desk Receptionist will be cross-trained to do check in and check out. They will be responsible for greeting patients, checking patients in and out of the office, collecting insurance co-payments, and scheduling patient appointments.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Adequate knowledge of computer usage and ability to tolerate viewing on computer monitors for extended periods of time. Employee’s main activities require the ability to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time, doing repetitive motions such as typing and occasionally moving about inside the office to access files or office equipment, and operate a computer and other office machinery. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Employee will sometimes have to travel to multiple locations to successfully complete their job.
