Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Previous medical office experience preferred.
• Skills: Ability to use hospital information systems and Microsoft Office tools; ICD9/CPT coding desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and visitors with professionalism; patient check in/out; registration into information systems.
• Telephone triage, appointment scheduling, insurance verification and pre-verification; collect co-pays.
• Manage electronic medical records routing, patient letters, MyChart messages within 24 hours; general billing support.
