Job summary

Eyemart Express in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Front Desk Optometrist’s Technician (Optometrist Technician) for a part-time position. You will assist the store Doctor, perform pre-tests, help customers with exams and contact lenses, and support sales and promotions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail, customer service or sales preferred.
• Experience in the optical industry is a plus but not required; training is available.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store Doctor and service customers entering the office.
• Perform pre-test procedures and help with exam services as directed.
• Sell contact lenses and communicate Eyemart's promotions and everyday low prices.
• Process payments and handle point of sale transactions.
• Maintain patient files and ensure HIPAA confidentiality.
• Order and dispense contact lenses and assist with inventory.
