Job summary

The Harrison Group in Corolla, NC is seeking a Front Desk Clerk who will provide professional, courteous service to guests, handle check-in/check-out, and manage daily reservations.

This role also serves as a night auditor, balancing daily transactions, reconciling reports, and producing end-of-day operational records, while supporting overnight guest needs.

Collaborate with housekeeping, upsell services, and uphold hotel standards to ensure a welcoming guest experience across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hospitality, tourism, or hotel management coursework/degree preferred.
• Experience in hotel front desk or similar role preferred.
• Familiarity with reservation systems (Cloudbeds/RoomKeyPMS) and online travel platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and conduct check-in/check-out per hotel standards.
• Register guests with accurate information and payments.
• Manage reservations across channels and enter data into the PMS.
• Inform guests about rooms, rates, amenities, and services.
• Verify payment methods and process transactions per policy.
• Maintain up-to-date records of reservations, room assignments, and payments.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and complaints.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to prepare rooms for arrivals.
• Assist with group reservations and VIP arrivals.
• Promote and upsell hotel services when appropriate.
• Perform night audit duties and balance daily transactions.
• Prepare and distribute end-of-day reports for management.
• Ensure smooth overnight operations and guest support.
