Job summary

The Fitness Factory Harlem in New York, NY is seeking an energetic Front Desk/Membership Advisor to be the welcoming face of our gym, assist members, and drive membership growth.

You will handle check-ins, tours, POS transactions, and member inquiries, while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, friendly environment that values teamwork and member success.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, sales, or front desk experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and guests at the front desk.
• Promote and sell gym memberships, personal training packages, and facility services.
• Handle member check-ins, account inquiries, and membership renewals using club management software.
• Conduct facility tours for prospective members and communicate membership options.
• Process payments, manage POS transactions, and maintain member records.
• Address and resolve member concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming front desk and lobby area.

Requirements

• Previous customer service, sales, or front desk experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for fitness and wellness
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and membership targets
• Comfortable working with POS systems and membership management software
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy gym environment
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
