Physical Therapy Central in Yukon, Oklahoma is seeking a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our South Leawood team. You are the first voice patients hear and the first face they see, creating a welcoming, organized, and professional experience from first contact through visits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of customer-facing or patient-facing experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized.
• Strong phone communication and professionalism.
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn scheduling software.
• No prior medical experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations including check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals by updating patient records and communicating next steps.
• Keep patient flow by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and rescheduling as needed.
• Collect copays and payments accurately and maintain basic payment records.
• Uphold HIPAA privacy in all front desk interactions and documentation.
