Front Desk Medical Receptionist

FlexStaff is seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist for our client, a surgical center. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.




RESPONSIBILITIES:





  • Greet patients and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.





  • Answer and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-in/check-out.





  • Verify insurance information and collect co-pays/balances.





  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with other administrative tasks as needed.





  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.




QUALIFICATIONS:





  • High school diploma or equivalent.





  • Previous medical reception experience preferred.





  • Strong customer service and communication skills.





  • Proficient in computer skills and electronic health record (EHR) systems.





  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
