Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Medical Office Specialist for TexomaCare in Denison, Texas.

The MOS will handle front desk coverage, including registration, check-in, co-pays, scheduling, and billing, while scanning records into EMR and handling reports and correspondence. The role requires medical terminology knowledge, organization and professional communication in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completed a Medical Office Assistant/Specialist program or Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Minimum of one year of medical experience preferred.
• Reliable, responsible, dependable, and able to fulfill obligations.
• Careful about detail and thorough in completing tasks.
• Knowledge of administrative/clerical procedures and terminology.
• Knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware/software and applications.
• Knowledge of customer and personal services principles and processes.
