Job description

InnVite Hospitality Group is seeking a Front Desk Manager responsible for ensuring the front desk operates in a courteous and professional manner, following hotel policies and procedures outlined in the front office manual.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Training and follow-up with front office staff, including night audit.
  2. Scheduling front office staff.
  3. Assisting the GM with special projects and assignments.
  4. Ensuring staff are knowledgeable of procedures, policies, and safety requirements.
  5. Participating in yield management and rate analysis, assisting the GM in monitoring these processes.
  6. Monitoring group bookings, follow-up on group cut-offs and rooming lists, and reporting issues to the GM.
  7. Booking groups into the hotel as inquiries are made.
  8. Reviewing audit packs and making deposits in the absence of the GM.
  9. Maintaining communication between front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure rooms are clean and ready.
  10. Inspecting rooms regularly with the GM and head housekeeper.
  11. Working evening shifts and busy periods as the primary agent, assisting as directed.
  12. Attending department meetings.
  13. Performing all other duties as indicated in the front desk associate job description and as assigned by the GM.
  14. Maintaining a professional attitude with guests, vendors, and colleagues at all times.
