Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Guest Service Representative to join our team in Indiana. The role focuses on personal recognition of guests, handling front-desk duties, and ensuring a smooth check-in experience while maintaining data integrity and top-notch customer service.

The position requires prior front-desk experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage a fast-paced hotel lobby environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition.
• Reviews arrival lists daily and assists in preparing and assembling welcome amenities.
• Escorts VIPs to rooms and checks them in prior to arrival.
• Answers the telephone within three rings with a smile, answering questions or transferring as needed.
• Manages issued bank; counts bank at beginning and end of shift; ensures all cash drops are handled per procedures and reports all cash over/shorts to management.
• Keeps front‑desk area clean and organized.
• Assists with lobby activation as needed.
• Utilizes proper procedures when handling guest PPI data.
• Follows checklist when checking guests in or out, retrieving identification documents and payment upon arrival.
• Attends promptly to guest needs and inquiries.
• Performs various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
