Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott El Paso Downtown is seeking a friendly, energetic Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. You will welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, provide information on local attractions, and assist with reservations in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have prior hotel or customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask while maintaining a professional appearance. Weekend and holiday availability are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred.
• Front Desk experience is a plus.
• Open availability for weekends and holidays is required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on hotel occupancy and business needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and dining options.
• Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process payments, room charges, and other transactions accurately.
• Maintain accurate guest information and follow hotel procedures.
• Answer telephone calls and assist guests with reservations and general inquiries.
• Monitor room availability and assist with room assignments.
• Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and other departments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
• Promote hotel services and Marriott Bonvoy benefits when appropriate.
• Follow all hotel safety, security, and guest-service standards.
• Protect guest privacy and confidential information.
• Address guest concerns and elevate issues to management when necessary.
• Assist with other front office duties as needed.
