The Salvation Army Greenville Kroc Center in Greenville, SC is seeking a part-time Recreation Associate to warmly greet visitors, provide program information, and assist with tours and fitness activities. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and a welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate will have 18+ years of age, a High School diploma or GED, and experience in customer relations and leading fitness programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or GED.
• Experience in customer relations and leading fitness and recreational activities preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsabilités

• Warmly greets all people at the Kroc Center.
• Assist and listen to members, guests, and colleagues to offer thoughtful solutions.
• Offer tours that connect individuals or families with Kroc Center programs.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized environment throughout the building.
• Uphold Kroc Center policies to maintain a safe, family-friendly environment.
• Answer phone calls, address needs, and provide program information professionally.
• Assist (or lead when applicable) in emergency situations.
• Explain Kroc member offerings, such as Kroc Starts and equipment orientations.
• Sanitize equipment, mop, and sweep fitness areas and studios.
• Perform daily inspection of equipment and report needed repairs.
• Open/close the facility and assist with setup for events and classes.
• Maintain a professional appearance per Salvation Army standards and dress code.
• Alert leadership when materials are depleted.
