Job summary

Alpha Orthodontics in Minnesota is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator I to join our growing team. You will greet patients, handle administrative duties, verify insurance, and manage scheduling and payments with a patient-first attitude.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of administrative experience preferred.
• Bilingual a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and receive customers, determine nature of visit and notify appropriate team member.
• Perform various administrative duties and answer, screen, and route calls.
• Check-in patients on first visit and verify insurance information.
• Make appointments for returning patients and print appointment reminders.
• Manage payments, post to accounts, and coordinate payment arrangements.
• Receive, store, and deliver shipments and mail and keep patient charts updated.

How you’ll make us better

• Greet and receive customers, determines nature of visit, and notifies appropriate team member(s).
• Performs various administrative duties.
• Welcomes visitors to the practice and provides information about clinic features Answers, screens, and routes incoming calls and takes messages as needed.
• Checks-in and collects general information from patients on their first visit
• Verifies insurance information
• Notifies clinicians of patient arrival and readiness
• Make appointments for returning patients as necessary
• Prints/reprints appointment reminders and school/work excuses
• May make changes to the patient schedule as necessary
• Coordinates payment arrangements or account resolution
• Receives, stores, and delivers shipments and mail
• Takes payments and posts to account
• Updates charts and patient information
• Drives internal marketing initiatives and fosters participation from everyone

Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.45
