Responsibilities include collecting payments, assisting the mammography technologist with report distribution, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Prior front desk or medical billing experience is preferred, with bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 1 year experience as medical receptionist/front office.
• 2 years experience in medical billing.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• OB/GYN experience desirable.
• Proficient in eClinicalWorks desirable.

Overview

Unified Mammography Services (UMAMS), a subsidiary of Unified Women’s Healthcare, is a comprehensive solution for in-office Mammography services. We utilize top-of-the-line equipment and expert staff with exceptional standards of care. Embedded OBGYN provider practices, this offers patients an intimate and familiar in-office environment, offering a convenient one-stop solution for well-women visits and annual screening mammograms.

Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Full Time Float Front Desk Coordinator for its Mammography offices at practices in Las Vegas, NV and Henderson, NV.

The Front Desk Coordinator engages patients in a pleasant, professional, and timely manner, being sensitive to guest services. Conducts patient/guarantor interviews, explains financial responsibilities, and collection of monies due. Handles all routine patient inquiries related to the registration process. Ensures all necessary demographic and financial data is obtained and accurately documented in the patient EMR system. Identifies appropriate payor source for routing revenue generated during the patient visit. Ensures any pre-certification and/or authorization is obtained to meet individual payor payment authorization protocols. Submits claims for mammography services. Assist mammography technologist with the distribution of mammography reports and other duties as necessary. Follows HIPAA guidelines at all times.

• Minimum 2 years experience in medical billing
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Previous experience working in an OB/GYN environment is highly desirable
• Proficient in eClinicalWorks is highly desirable
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
