  • Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, visitors, vendors, and team members in a warm and professional manner.
  • Check in patients, verify demographics, confirm required paperwork, and support accurate patient registration.
  • Answer incoming calls, route messages appropriately, and provide helpful information to callers.
  • Assist with appointment reminders, follow-up outreach, and patient communication as directed.
  • Coordinate transportation needs and communicate updates to the appropriate clinical or administrative team members.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby, front desk area, and guest restroom presentation.
  • Monitor front office supplies and notify the appropriate team member when items need to be ordered.
  • Support patient service initiatives, office communication, and day-to-day administrative workflows.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards and VIS policies at all times.

About the Role


The Front Desk Coordinator is often the first point of contact for patients and visitors, helping create a welcoming, organized, and professional experience from arrival through follow-up. This role supports patient check-in, phone coverage, office coordination, communication, and daily administrative workflows at our procedure center.


Key Responsibilities
