The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, familiarity with dental software, and the ability to handle billing and office tasks with a focus on patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • 1-5 years of customer service, insurance, or dental experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental software and Microsoft Office; ability to learn new programs as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Handle front desk operations and greet patients, answer calls, schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as sorting mail, scanning, and photocopying; manage billing data and end-of-day reports.
  • Explain procedures to patients using dental knowledge; communicate financial policies and collect co-payments.
  • Verify insurance coverage and discuss payment options with patients; track appointments and no-shows.
  • Maintain accuracy and quality control of financial information.

Responsibilities

Skills Required to Make a Great “Impression” on Our Team

  • Must be dependable and skilled in quality control when handling financial information, performing insurance verification, and preparing end of the day reports, always keeping our patients worry-free
  • Performs clerical tasks such as sorting, opening, distributing mail, scanning, and photocopying. Answer phone calls and provide information to callers; greet visitors/patients; schedules, verifies, and confirms patient appointments.
  • Explains procedures and/or services to patients using dental knowledge.
  • Presents financial policies and arrangements to patients collect co-payments and verify insurance coverage as appropriate.
  • Tracks appointments due to no-shows, cancellations, and late arrivals
Qualifications
